41st ANNUAL “DAM DAYS PARADE”

FRIDAY MAY 29th, 2026

LINE UP FOR PARADE BEGINS AT 5:00 PM

PARADE STARTS PROMPTLY AT 7:00 PM

The best little town by a dam site is planning their 41st annual celebration and hope you and/or your organization will be able to attend. Please consider this a personal invitation to participate in the 2026 Morristown Dam Days Parade held in Morristown, Minnesota.

Our parade is considered to be among the best of small town parades in the upper midwest, as well as one of the first of the 2026 season. This year’s parade will be held on Friday, May 29th, with a 7:00 PM start time signaling the beginning of the three day celebration of Dam Days.

Please complete the online registration form: Parade registration no later than May 15th .  Also, please leave a brief note in the designated area describing your parade entry so our Parade Announcers can properly introduce and recognize your parade unit. If left blank, there will be NO announcement describing your entry.  Please attach Certificate of Liability Insurance to your completed form.  Completed forms may be mailed to the address in the top left corner of this page.

There is no fee required for participation in the parade. However, the parade costs about $10,000 each year, so donations from your organization are accepted and appreciated!

A letter will be emailed and will include more detailed information regarding your unit number. Unit numbers are assigned about a week before the parade.  Please remember this is a rain or shine event.

Please email damdaysparade@gmail.com or call Kristin Velzke at 507-339-1654 with any questions. We look forward to celebrating Morristown Dam Days with you!
