        As Per Statue # 367.12 the clerk has the right to appoint a Deputy Clerk of his choosing to act in his absents.
        I have appointed Kim Halvorson as my Deputy Clerk as of  1/9/04. She will attend to duties assigned by the Clerk, until such time as I am replaced through the election process on March 9th , 2004.
