Bio
Council membership started Jan 2009. Lisa has lived in Morristown since
2002. She is married and
the mother of 2 grown daughters and one elementary age son. She is active
in the Historical Society, Peace United Methodist Church and works full
time outside of Morristown with persons with developmental disabilities.
Lisa loves to read, cook, go for walks, travel, take photos and spend
her free time (which she has very little of) with family.
"I never really imagined myself being involved in politics but being
on the council has been a great learning experience. I enjoy meeting my
neighbors and the challenging issues that come up. Being the "voice" of
the citizens of
Morristown carries with it a great deal of pressure. It's impossible
to make decisions that please everybody but finding the balance, that's
the goal."
